Websense has released version 7.5 of Web Filter, Web Security, Web Security Gateway and Web Security Gateway Anywhere!

Summary of New Features in Version 7.5

Version 7.5 is a major feature release to Websense Web Security Gateway that delivers on Websense’s vision of product and of deployment platform unification. This release introduces multiple industry-firsts to the Web Security market:

TruWeb™ DLP Websense has added native Enterprise-class DLP functionality into the Web Security Gateway to provide full data loss prevention functionality for outbound Web traffic.

TruHybrid™ Deployment - The ONLY solution with unified management of hybrid on-premise and SaaS-based deployments to allow customers to deploy Web Security Gateway where and how they need it.

TRITON Console - The industry’s first unified management console for Web Security, Data Security and Hybrid on-premise/SaaS deployments.

New “Web Security Gateway Anywhere”- New Web Security Gateway license that adds the functionality of TruWeb DLP, TruHybrid Deployment and Remote Filtering to the industry-leading Web Security Gateway.

V5000 G2 Appliance - New V-Series appliance for enterprise branch offices and mid-sized organizations (available June, 2010).

Support for Microsoft Forefront TMG - Websense has now also full support for integration with Microsoft Forefront TMG

In addition, there are feature enhancements in this release that improve security, usability and flexibility of the Websense Web Security Gateway.
