Elevate Project

The goal of the Elevate project is to offer a hybrid training and certification environment, which integrates the application software to be taught in a pedagogical-documented educational process, allowing the software development SMEs to deliver innovative e-training services and to address the needs of their business partners and customers.

The Elevate project consists of two phases:

• The definition and development of the hybrid training and certification environment. It allows defining a scenario graph with learning objects and competences. From this graph, an expert user derives a new graph describing the optimal learning path. This graph is then used compare it with a third graph defining the actual progress of a particular user and the current training status.
• The use cases. The environment described above will be applied to three use cases, integrating an e-learning environment into the three tools of the SME's. The complexity of these tools range from relative simple to train to extremely complex, requiring the trainee to have a considerable background. These use cases will demonstrate the power of teh e-training environment and will allow the SME's to develop a sophisticated e-learning environment for their tools.

The coordinator of the Elevate project is CAS Software AG (Germany) and the partners are SingularLogic (Greece), SEERC (Greece), Okan University (Turkey), ENOCTA (Turkey), Nothern Venture (Cyprus), E2S n.v. (Belgium) and ITL srl (Italy).

E2S will use this environment to develop an e-learning training for its Model Driven Architecture ATO tool.
